ALL ABOUT FORGE SSP

Forge School Sport Partnership was established in 2001 as part of the Government’s national PE and School Sport Strategy to increase participation in High Quality Physical Education & School Sport. Our partnership is hosted by Handsworth Grange Community Sports College and currently includes 28 schools and over 15, 000 young people and continues to operate in a non-for-profit capacity. This document sets out the innovative packages of support that schools are able to access from September 2021. The different packages on offer aim to provide a value for money educational service. This year our packages have been amended to maximise the offer for schools and meet the objectives and indicators set out by the Department for Education in relation to the Primary PE and Sport Premium.
