Youth Sport Trust

The School Games, which is funded by Sport England and delivered by the Youth Sport Trust, involves funded School Games Organisers (SGOs) at a local level and School Games County Alliances at a county level working alongside us to create an annual calendar of competition

Yorkshire Sport Foundation

Yorkshire Sport Foundation is a National Lottery funded charity working predominantly across the nine districts of South Yorkshire and West Yorkshire. and part of a network of England-wide Active Partnerships.

Sheffield Alliance

The Sheffield Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity Strategic Alliance came together specifically to develop the PESSPA Toolkit. It has become the key strategic group seeking to support Sheffield schools and organisations to develop the Physical Education, school sport and physical activity offer to the children and young people of the city.

This partnership includes: Learn Sheffield, Move More, the School Sports Partnerships of the city (Arches SSP, Forge SSP, Links SSP & Points Learning Network), Sheffield City Council (PESOL, Public Health & Countryside and Parks), Sheffield Hallam University, Primary PE Alliance (including school leaders from each primary locality), Sheffield Federation for School Sports, Sheffield City Trust (Sheffield International Venues), Thornbridge Outdoors, School Games Organisers, Youth Sport Trust & Yorkshire Sport Foundation.

Move More

Move More has been in operation since 2012, it is a plan that is driven by the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine, Sheffield (NCSEM) as part of the London 2012 Olympic Legacy Programme. 

The NCSEM partnership that underpins Move More includes high-level support from the key anchor institutions listed below. In addition to the founding partners we collaborate with an extensive number of partner organisations across Sheffield.

Department of Health and Social Care

The Department for Health and Social Care is a prime funding body of Sport England which deliver the School Games programme through Youth Sport Trust.
